Newly elected mayor, Wilma Whipple, sat down at her large mahogany desk on the fifth floor. With a sigh she looked out over Salto Ancora, South Dakota and knew that things must change. The previous mayor was corrupt, that became clear when he was found with a bullet in his head in his cluttered apartment. His underhanded deals bought him a new resting place under the ground. For years the widely-known South Dakota Mafia ran their headquarters from Salto Ancora, a small rural town with one gas station, one street light, and one grocery store. It appeared the deceased mayor was finally betrayed by the mafia when he refused to use his influence to bring a Wal-mart to town. And for that, Mayor Whipple was thankful.
Mayor Whipple knew that with the police hot on their trail, most of the mafia members had left town. Unfortunately, the town’s undercover detective just received new information that two mafia members remained, determined to kill off every last townsperson in Salto Ancora. If they couldn’t have their Wal-mart, the townspeople could not have their lives. It was time for revenge.
While realizing this struggle would be difficult, Mayor Whipple felt a new sense of hope. A doctor had just arrived from India, armed with brand new techniques from across the globe, and the undercover detective appeared to be smart and cunning. With the help of the good townspeople of Salto Ancora and the doctor and detective, change was imminent. Suddenly hearing thunder in the distance, Mayor Whipple snapped out of her thoughts and noticed a large storm headed her way. She couldn’t help thinking this storm may be symbolic of what was to come…
It is now night. All those with night roles (the detective, doctor, and mafia) must email me their responses by 10 a.m. tomorrow morning (Central Time). Mafia may communicate with one another to decide who to kill, but there is to be NO OTHER COMMUNICATION BY ANYONE during the night. Again, my email is hutchie_@hotmail.com.

Even though we're not supposed to communicate during the night, it might be a good idea to have everyone say HI on the comment section so we can make sure we're all able to access it, and make sure everyone is still playing.
